The Art of Deep Rest: Restorative Yoga Training
A 2-weekend module in June and July. Develop a profound comprehension of the art of deep rest. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the nervous system, stress, and how the practice of Restorative Yoga can help your students alleviate stress and achieve nervous system balance. Learn the principles, techniques, and intricacies of poses, as well as the appropriate use of yoga props. You will be prepared to establish a deep personal restorative practice (self-care) and confidently sequence and teach a restorative yoga class or offer private yoga sessions.
Lisa: E-RYT® 500, AFAA, Somatic Trauma Therapy certified. Lisa has been teaching group fitness and yoga since 2001. Fast forward a few years and Lisa's journey has evolved to be a continuous inquiry on interception, anatomy, embryology, movement, fitness and Chinese energy healing. Lisa co-facilitates the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and leads the Yin Yoga Teacher Training program at Joya. When she's not teaching, Lisa enjoys face-planting in fun arm balances, falling out of tree pose and doing mostly the yin practice.
