INSTRUCTOR INFO

Audrey: E-RYT® 500, YACEP®. Audrey has practiced and studied yoga since 1996. Her training and practice are rooted in the Ashtanga tradition of yoga and her teaching style is a culmination of the many styles that she has studied over the years. She has taught yoga in the San Ramon area since 2003, yoga teacher training since 2008, and is co-owner of The Yoga Company. Audrey sees the practice of yoga as a way to connect with, learn about and honor the self, with the result being a more balanced state of mind and body. She is grateful to, and inspired by the many teachers she has had over the years and continues to integrate their wisdom into her teaching.

Alison: E-RYT® 500, YACEP®. Alison has been practicing yoga for several decades and teaching yoga for over a decade. She is passionate about movement, exploration, and fun... all while helping members take lessons off the mat. Alison co-facilitates the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and leads the Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Program at Joya. When not teaching yoga, you can find Alison outside, reading her book or traveling the world.

Lisa: E-RYT® 500, AFAA, Somatic Trauma Therapy certified. Lisa has been teaching group fitness and yoga since 2001. Fast forward a few years and Lisa's journey has evolved to be a continuous inquiry on interception, anatomy, embryology, movement, fitness and Chinese energy healing. Lisa co-facilitates the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training and leads the Yin Yoga Teacher Training program at Joya. When she's not teaching, Lisa enjoys face-planting in fun arm balances, falling out of tree pose and doing mostly the yin practice.

Melissa: ERYT® 500, YACEP®. Melissa is a passionate and dedicated yoga teacher who loves to share the wisdom of this ancient practice. With a deep commitment to her students, she has been teaching since 2014 and remains forever a student, continually advancing her training and practice in the Vinyasa tradition. Melissa believes true yoga isn't just a physical work out, but rather a journey of self-discovery that goes beyond the mat. In addition to yoga, she cherishes cooking, traveling, and being surrounded by friends and family. She holds multiple certifications in, yin yoga, assisting techniques, trauma informed yoga and accessible yoga. Melissa is committed to helping others feel empowered through their own unique journey of consciousness.
