
Yin Yoga Chinese Meridian Teacher Training
This training offers a unique opportunity to explore Eastern philosophy while deepening your understanding of Yin Yoga. Through the lens of Chinese Meridian Theory, you’ll have the chance to look at Qi, meridian functions, emotions and elements in great detail, with comprehensive instruction and practice of Yin yoga poses vis-à-vis Meridians.
Additionally, you’ll learn about responsibilities and ethics for teaching within an Eastern holistic view, with a fun and low key vibe. Whether this is your first introduction to Eastern philosophy or you want to build on what you already know, this training will give you the tools to experience its power.
In this intensive training you will understand the importance of:
- Meridian Theory

- Meridians and the Zang Fu organs
- Reviewing in detail each Meridian line
- Emotions and the five elements
- Meridian Circuit Clock
- Yin Yoga Poses with respect Meridian Theory

- Responsibilities/Ethics of a Teacher
Prerequisite: You must have 1 year of a Yin practice.
CEU's: 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certified yoga instructors can receive CEU's.

Lisa Jang (E-RYT, YACEP, AFAA) studied Yin Yoga with renowned teacher and author, Bernie Clark at Semperviva Yoga College in Vancouver, BC. She has also had the privilege of studying functional anatomy with Yin Yoga master teachers, Paul & Suzee Grilley. She studied Acupressure at McKinnon Massage Institute in Oakland, CA. Lisa has been teaching group fitness and yoga since 2001. Lisa currently co-teaches the 200 Hour Teacher Program and leads the Yin Yoga Teacher Training Program at Joya.
